Chelsea
SW3
This interesting pied-a-terre originally had it’s kitchen under the glass window, which meant the space wasn’t able to utilised effectively. To solve this, I relocated the kitchen to the middle of the room, creating a spacious living area. The space has gorgeous, large windows and a glass roof that allow for lots of natural light. We created a dining nook there, simultaneously making the kitchen more functional and also giving this cozy home the feeling of having more rooms. Redesigning the floorplan had its challenges because we needed to relocate the boiler and create all new plumbing, but it was absolutely worth the extra effort.
This project was done over two phases and I thoroughly enjoyed working with these wonderful clients.
