Putney Wharf
SW15
The clients decided that they wanted something brand new and fresh for their home so opted for a full refurb. We started by turning the study into an at-home workout studio with a floor-to-ceiling mirror and fitted with a ballet barre – clean, bright and spacious.
In the bedroom we redesigned the storage to ensure that they could hide all of their clothes while also not taking up huge amounts of space with the TV. To solve this, we made a bespoke sliding door that the TV fits into as the entrance to the closet. We had a lot of finding the right textures to play with the neutral pallets in the rooms, especially looking at very special fabrics for the blinds to really bring the room together.
The bathroom was originally built with no storage in black and white but the client really wanted it to feel like a spa. We transformed the small bathroom into a luxury space with a soft palatte and elegent tiling, complementing the colours of the bedroom so it feels like one continuous space.
The kitchen was the biggest transformation. In the pictures you can see the nook with the dining table – that used to be where the kitchen was! We decided to move the space and knock down a wall to create a larger, welcoming, open kitchen with an island where people can socialise with loads of storage built into the cabinets. The table can even be brought over and put next to the kitchen island for a bit of a change of scenery.
A really top-to-bottom makeover and a very fun project to work on!
