Project Notes – Putney SW15

Enjoyed this project as it had our first nursery ever! How fun!

For the kitchen, the brief was to have a contemporary yet warm kitchen that would complement the house. We replaced the windows with large patio doors to bring in light, the kitchen from Doca in a warm cappuccino colour enhanced with the beautiful glossy Dekton Taga and the warm reclaimed oak wood for the wall units. WE kept the island clear of any hob or sink only to hose the ovens and freezer.
We also worked on the lighting to avoid using spotlights and use more atmospheric lighting like the pendants and wall lights.

The first floor had one room, which was an awkward bathroom; we closed it and created an ensuite for the master bathroom and the nursery for the baby.
The colour palette for the master bedroom was plum, powder pink, and cappuccino. New wardrobes, units on either side of the bed, new lighting, as well as the new ensuite bathroom in olive green and brass fittings.
The nursery became a very happy space for the newborn, with simple lighting and a soft, luxurious carpet.
