With over 17 years of experience in the industry, Nora takes great pride in offering bespoke interior design services that place you, the client, at the forefront of everything we do. Meet Nora – The Creative Mind Behind CasaNora

Nora’s journey into interior design is anything but conventional. Born and raised in the Kuwait with Iraqi-Armenian heritage, she left to study at the American University in Marylebone in 1989. After being trained by the iconic Zandra Rhodes, Nora built a successful career designing and creating wedding dresses and evening wear. Her love for fabrics, textures, and intricate design laid the foundation for what would later become her true passion—interior design.

In 2007, she was introduced into the world of kitchens with Simple Interiors and encouraged to pursue formal training. At 39, Nora returned to education and earned her qualifications in interior design at the renowned KLC School of Design. Since then, she has never looked back! After several years honing her skills, she opened CasaNora’s beautiful Putney kitchen showroom in 2014 on Upper Richmond Road. Now, following more than a decade of outstanding projects, the showroom continues to be a creative hub for homeowners seeking distinctive, high-end interiors.

Teaching and Mentoring the Next Generation

In addition to running CasaNora, Nora remains dedicated to nurturing the next generation of interior designers. As a guest lecturer at KLC School of Design, she regularly invites students into her showroom to learn about kitchen and interior design in a real-world setting. She is one of the few KLC graduates with her own kitchen showroom and takes pride in providing students with hands-on experience and guidance.

Nora did an amazing job on our kitchen – the kitchen was very old and my husband is quite a heavy duty cook. The kitchen needed to be completely redone, floors and walls included.
