Project Notes – Barnet EN5
We transformed this small 3 bedroom/1 bathroom home into a spacious and modern 5 bedroom/3 bathroom property. The clients had been in their home for two decades and felt it was time to make a real change to the space, so I worked with them to help maximise the potential of their expansion and give a total facelift to the rest of the house. Initially, the client was skeptical about including grey, thinking it felt too cold. I think grey is a bit of a misunderstood colour. Together we explored dozens of palettes and textures and ultimately the client fell in love with a combination of walnut wood, blues, purples and even some grey! This was a big undertaking and the renovations were done with the clients still living in their home, so we did this project is several stages and did everything including the lighting, art work, carpets and all the small details that really make a difference.
