Project Notes – Earlsfield SW18

This project was the perfect space planning one ! Quite a challenge as the area was predominantly taken over by a very traditional kitchen, and a TV area which didn’t work due to the amount of light coming into the room.
The brief was to create the kitchen to make the entire space useable, this was a very interesting and enjoyable challenge.

The only existing item which was reused was the large dining table.
So we turned the room around which also has it’s challenges, I wanted the space to be social, beautiful, and super practical to accommodate the client’s needs, so I zoned it into different areas. The kitchen which was of course the main feature in a gorgeous soft light blue with a textured leather effect melamine from Doca. The worktop is 60 mm Glossy Dekton, highlighted with the round bar and Porada stools. We then created the area for the daily paper/breakfast/lunch with a beautiful ceramic Porada table and chairs, TV area designed also from Doca so it gives you the calmness needed when you wish to relax on the corner unit from 4Mariani, and the dining table when you wish to entertain was then placed alongside the darkest part of the room with beautiful textured wallpaper and simple wall lights which will give the intimacy required for Dinner.

To compliment the entire space the flooring was done in light oak.
